This Privacy Policy explains how MCQ योद्धा (MCQ Yodha) (“we”, “us”, “our”), available at mcqyodha.com, collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you use our exam-practice service (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
a) Account information (Google Sign-In)
We use Google Sign-In (via Supabase Authentication) to log you in. When you sign in we receive and store your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.
b) Profile & preferences
Your selected education level (10th Pass / 12th Pass / Graduate) and exam goal, used to filter questions to your needs.
c) Practice & progress data
Your question attempts (the option you chose, whether it was correct, and time taken), and your chapter progress (questions attempted, correct count, last accessed).
d) Subscription & payment data
If you upgrade to a paid plan, we store your plan, status, start/expiry dates and a payment reference ID. Card / UPI / bank details are handled entirely by our third-party payment processor — we never see or store them.
e) Security & anti-abuse data
To protect our content from automated scraping and to prevent abuse, we collect a device fingerprint, IP address, and limited technical session data. We use these to detect unusual activity and, where necessary, to temporarily lock an account.
f) Local storage
We store session and identity data in your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings (such as Hindi/English and theme).
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
- To deliver questions, reveal solutions after attempts, and save your progress.
- To personalise practice based on your education level and goal.
- To process and manage subscriptions and payments.
- To protect the Service against scraping, fraud and abuse (rate-limiting, device checks, temporary account locks).
- To analyse and improve the Service.
3. How your data is stored & protected
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure, and the website is served via Cloudflare. We apply strict Row Level Security so that you can only access your own records. Question answers and solutions are delivered server-side and are never exposed in the browser before you attempt a question. Access to sensitive content tables is restricted to secure server functions only.
4. Sharing & third-party services
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service:
- Google — authentication (sign-in).
- Supabase — database, authentication and server functions.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
- Payment processor — to process paid subscriptions.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your associated profile, progress, attempts and subscription records are deleted (cascade) from our active database. Some security logs may be retained for a limited period as required to prevent abuse.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@mcqyodha.com.
7. Children
The Service is intended for exam aspirants. If you are under 18, please use the Service under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
8. Compliance
We aim to handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For any privacy grievance, contact our grievance contact at support@mcqyodha.com.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
